Based on the history of the Japanese invasion of Taiwan in 1895 was a war that happened between imperial Japan and the Republic of Formosa in 1895, after the Qing dynasty of China hand over Taiwan and the Pescadores to Japan in the Treaty of Shimonoseki. The conflict occurred over five months, killing almost 14,000 people and nearly 5000 people Formosa Japan, mainly because of diseases, including Kitashirakawanomiya Yoshihisa prince of the royal family of Japan. Taiwan itself is an island in East Asia. People `s Republic of China (PRC) or the People's Republic of China (PRC), or often called" China "an homage to" Kaochantang "(Communist) regards Taiwan as a" rebellious province ", while Taiwan calls itself as a separate state under the name" Republic of China "(ROC) a homage to" Kaomintang "(Nationalist). The main island of Taiwan is known as Formosa (from Portuguese Formosa, meaning "beautiful island"), located in East Asia. The island is connected to the east by the Pacific Ocean, to the south by the South China Sea and Luzon Strait, to the west by the Strait of Taiwan, and to the north by the East China Sea. This island has a length of 394 kilometers (245 miles) wide and 144 kilometers (89 miles). ROC control of the islands of Taiwan, the Pescadores islands, Quemoy and Matsu Islands.

Achievement of electronic and machinery exports of Taiwan has donated 70% of GDP growth are the key drivers of industrialization of Taiwan, so that months ago in March 2010 is able to hold foreign reserves amounted to USD 355 billion more and has placed Taiwan on the 4th highest position in the world. Indonesia is ranked eleventh trading partner of Taiwan's largest, is the source sequence into the nine largest import and export market order to a four-twelfth largest. Several lessons can be learned from the development of agriculture in Taiwan, namely:
1. President Lee Teng Hui to agricultural intensification strategies to increase production and productivity in the upstream sector, mainly due to area constraints Taiwan area. Initial priorities of agricultural development is emphasized upon the adequacy of food commodities, especially rice domestically made with full awareness due to high population growth rate at that time.
2. Taiwan at the time of President Lee Teng Hui conduct large-scale development of physical infrastructure such as roads, bridges, irrigation, electricity, clean water, and telecommunications have been able to bridge the most efficient in economic activity in that country. In theory, the intensification of agriculture which supported the development of economic infrastructure such as this would produce a double impact on job creation and increased incomes.
3. President Lee to deregulate the economy is sufficiently consistent to eliminate trade barriers between regions, simplifying tax procedures, provide a balanced access for SMEs to sources of financing, banking and nonperbankan, and reduce charges at the port for the stimulation of international trade.
4. Taiwan and then to develop the technology with caution, not the origin of high-tech, but more based on comparative advantage and competitive country. Uptake of labor and the creation of new jobs is very high, up in the minorities of Southeast Asian origin also have jobs and show a high labor productivity. The result of these austerity, Taiwan's exports of agricultural commodities manufactured products, electronics, and other high-tech able to dominate Asian markets and even the world. No wonder Taiwan is called Four Tigers of Asia with Hong Kong, South Korea, and Singapore. However the development of agriculture in Taiwan should be a valuable material for policymakers and academics in this country. At a minimum, they need to openly indicate serious bias and give full attention to the farmers and other poor groups. Indonesia is ranked eleventh trading partner of Taiwan's largest, is the source sequence into the nine largest import and export market to the -14 sequence of the largest. This is an advancement of learning from Taiwan in the field of technology development and other OTOP.
